We’re Seeds4STEM! Seeds4STEM provides STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) experiences to 3rd to 8th graders. We utilize local natural resources to provide hands-on, real-world STEM experiences to groups of children in STEM clubs and are facilitated by college STEM students. Seeds4STEM keeps youth engaged with STEM concepts and with their peers.

I am a recent graduate from UC Davis, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics with a concentration in International Business Economics. I also completed a minor in Technology Management and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship. Prior to my studies at Davis, I received my Associate's degree in Business Administration from Hartnell College, where I met Shannon Bliss, and together we founded Seeds4STEM.

With over 30 years in STEM education, I am dedicated to ensuring our youth stay engaged and interested in STEM. As a plant biologist, and having lived in Salinas for the last 8 years, I know how important connecting to local biology and agriculture can be to understand our valley and connect youth with quality local jobs. Using knowledge I gained from 7 years as the Dean of STEM at Hartnell College, I am working with a dedicated team to build engaging, inspiring, hands-on STEM activities for groups.
